About

Jesus Christ Superstar is a rock opera by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice that reimagines the final days of Jesus through a modern lens. Loosely based on the Gospels, it delves into the psychology of Jesus and Judas—the disciple disillusioned by his teacher’s path. Packed with contemporary slang, modern irony, and deliberate anachronisms, it turns ancient events into a bold, modern political drama with unforgettable songs including What’s The Buzz and I Don’t Know How To Love Him.
