THE DEPARTURE LOUNGE
Join us in The Departure Lounge for frank conversations about end-of-life planning, dying well and legacy.
WHAT TO EXPECT
This isn’t a seminar and there are no sales pitches — it’s a conversation.
You’ll stay with a small group while our four conversation guides rotate between tables, giving you the opportunity to ask your own questions, hear different perspectives and explore end-of-life planning, dying well and legacy in a relaxed, welcoming environment.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Whether you’re planning ahead, supporting someone you love, navigating changing circumstances, or simply curious to learn more, you’ll be warmly welcomed.

QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE
No question is too big, too small or too difficult. Whether you’re planning ahead, supporting someone you love or simply curious, you’re invited to ask the questions you’ve always wanted answered.
• Can I contest a will?
• What happens if I die without a will?
• Do I actually need a power of attorney? If so, when is the right time to appoint one?
• What does dying well even mean?
• What does an end-of-life doula actually do?
• How much does a funeral cost on the Mornington Peninsula?
• Can a prepaid funeral really affect my Age Pension entitlement?
• What’s the difference between a prepaid funeral and funeral insurance?
• Can I really become a tree when I die?
• What’s the difference between a traditional memorial and a living memorial?
