Mukinbudin Wildflower & Granite Rock Tours

Discover a truly unique Muka experience with the CRC Wildflower & Granite Rock Tour. This fully guided bus tour takes you beyond the beaten track to explore the spectacular landscapes and fascinating history of Mukinbudin.

Wander among impressive granite outcrops, uncover centuries old gnamma holes and, if you're feeling adventurous, climb the rocks to take in & capture the breathtaking views!  (photographers will love this Tour) During the wildflower season, the landscape comes alive with vibrant displays of native colour and it's our favourite time of the year in the Wheatbelt; we'd love to share it with you.

Enjoy a guided wildflower and orchid experience at the scenic  Quanta Cutting Reserve with local wildflower expert and keen photographer Sina Gringer. Wander among colourful native blooms while taking in sweeping views across the Wheatbelt, with a chance to spot kangaroos in their natural habitat. Relax with a bush cuppa and delicious homemade morning tea, freshly prepared by the Wialki Bakers.

Continue to the exclusive Shiela's Sanctuary, a private bush reserve with a remarkable family story. Tour organiser Catherine Sprigg shares the history of her grandmother, Sheila, whose love for this special place inspired the pioneering Sprigg family to preserve it as untouched bushland.

Nearby, visit the extraordinary granite rock formations and vibrant colours - perfect for photography enthusiasts.

Enjoy a well-earned home-style picnic lunch, with the magnificent Beringbooding Rock and Tank in the distance.

The journey also includes a brief visit to the historic Bonnie Rock Hall and Townsite before returning to Mukinbudin.

Time permitting, the tour will also stop at Goodchild's Gate and the Wind Generated Cleomine Horse, made by the Muka Men's Shed volunteers, adding even more local character to this unforgettable day.

Whether you're passionate about wildflowers, fascinated by local history, or simply looking to experience the peaceful beauty of the Wheatbelt, this Tour offers a truly authentic Muka experience. Enjoy!
