Welcoming Week in the Libraries
Welcoming Week is an annual celebration that connects neighbours of all backgrounds, encouraging connection and belonging. Across September, Central Coast Council is celebrating Neighbourhood by inviting you to discover something new close to home.
The Neighbourhood Exchange invites you to meet local artists and community members for hands-on workshops including printing, weaving, origami and more, where families can learn new skills, share stories and make something together.
Flowers, stories, and Pasifika traditions with Tina Leaitua
Celebrate creativity, culture and connection with local Samoan artist Tina Leaitua as you explore the Pasifika tradition of floral adornment. Create your own beautiful flower crown while discovering the colours, textures and stories that make flowers such a powerful symbol of identity, celebration and belonging.
