In this new short film of the PEOPLE OF SURFING series, Laure Mayer travels to West Africa, a land of fishermen and powerful waves where the ocean has shaped life for generations. Between ancestral tradition and a new generation of surfers claiming the lineup as their own, she meets a community defined by courage, pride and freedom in the face of the Atlantic. Through shared sessions and powerful encounters, Laure dives into the stories, mindset and way of life that define West African surfing. Beyond the waves, this episode is about people, culture and connection.
