This private workshop is designed with birthdays, hen's celebrations, and hands-on team-building events in mind. Enjoy a behind-the-scenes look at our massive supply hub, then settle in for a relaxed, zero-pressure creative session with your favourite people.

What You’ll Experience

We’ll kick things off with a mini-tour of our warehouse so you can see where the magic happens! Then with full guidance from your tutor, you’ll dive into our curated selection of leathers, decals, trims, paints and hardware to build a bag that's truly yours.

• Step 1: Choose your leather & coplour palette

  Select your favourite bag base. Want a pop of colour? Add a pocket out of contrasting colours.

• Step 2: Customise & add embellishments

  Make a statement by adding specialty hardware, rivets, and diamantés. Layer on appliqués, decals, and fun bag charms to give your crossbody personal character. Get creative with our premium range of Angelus leather paints to add your own artistic flair.

• Step 3: Pick your straps & hardware

  Finish off your design by choosing from our huge selection of colourful zips, clip hardware, and statement webbing straps.

We handle the stitching!

No sewing experience? No worries at all! Once you and your group have designed and customised your bags, yout tuor Lou will professionally sew them together for you.

Finished bags will be ready for store pickup within 2 weeks. (Need them sooner? Ask us about our express turnaround option for a small additional fee!)

• Group Size: Minimum 6 people | Maximum 20 people

• What’s Included: All pre-cut leather, paints, hardware, straps, trimmings and instruction.

• Catering: Want to make a full event of it? Ask us about our optional catering packages when you book.

Your tutor is Lou Clifton of Shoe School. With more than a decade of experience teaching shoemaking workshops across New Zealand and Australia, Lou brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise.

Classes are held 9-3pm. Doors at 8:45am.

Tea, coffee and light refreshments are provided.
