Forget trying to make something beautiful. This is a night of ridiculous prompts, terrible decisions, questionable techniques and completely unexpected artwork.
You'll get your own canvas and access to all the art materials you need, but what happens next is anyone's guess.
You might choose a mystery artwork from our Mystery Art Wall. You might start with a blank canvas and let your imagination take over. You might receive a prompt that everyone has to follow, or one that is completely different from the person sitting beside you.
Throughout the night, cards will be drawn with instructions, restrictions, challenges and a little bit of chaos.
Paint with one colour. Add a black square. Close your eyes and paint. Swap brushes. Add something ridiculous. Make it worse. Or simply paint whatever comes into your head.
We'll also be covering the tables in paper, so you're welcome to paint, doodle, experiment and add to the communal chaos throughout the night.
At the end, every canvas goes into our Ugly Art Gallery and everyone gets to vote.
And yes...
THE WORST PAINTING WINS.
The winner will receive the highly questionable Ugly Art Trophy, a giant badge of honour and a FREE ticket to the next Ugly Art Party.

Actually, being a good painter might be a disadvantage.
Come with your friends. Come with your partner. Come on your own and meet some fellow terrible artists.
Just don't come expecting to make good art.
