Welcome to Vedanta Centre of Melbourne.
Vedanta Centre of Melbourne is affiliated with Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Belur Math, India. Inspired by the teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, Sri Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda, the Centre promotes Vedanta, spiritual development, interfaith harmony, education and selfless service.
There are several ways in which you can support the Vedanta Centre and its activities.
1. Become a Member:
You may support the Centre by becoming a member and contributing the annual membership fee of $120.
2. Joining our Mailing List:
Not a member but would like to stay connected with us? You are most welcome to join our mailing list to receive updates about our activities, programmes and upcoming events.
3. Become a regular donor:
Whether you are a Member or a Mailing List Subscriber, you are welcome to make a contribution to support the Centre. Every contribution, large or small, is sincerely appreciated and helps the Vedanta Centre continue its work and serve the community.
An overview of our weekly activities that you are welcome to join:
Everyday: Evening Prayers at 7.00 PM
Sundays: Guided Meditation Session followed by class on Shrimad Bhagavad Gita: 10 AM to 11.30 AM
Tuesdays: Online Class on Upanisads and Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna: 7.30 PM to 8.30 PM
Thursdays: Online Class on Narada Bhakti Sutra and other Bhakti Literatures: 7.30 PM to 8.30 PM

Various celebrations organized throughout the year:
Rama Navami, Guru Purnima, Shri Krishna Janmashtami, Durga Puja, Kali Puja, Birthdays of Sri Ramakrishna, Sarada Devi and Swami Vivekananda, Kalpataru Day, Shivaratri and other cultural events.
We have an active Children’s Wing that provides opportunities for children to participate in a variety of activities and programmes organised throughout the year.
