The Story Teller Series are back! This month with Cathy Dobson, Tim Ireland & Ian Green.

Cathy Dobson:
Narre Warren singer-songwriter Cathy Dobson is an award-winning writer with six albums and numerous songwriting honours, including recognition from the Australian Songwriters Association for Excellence in Songwriting.

Influenced by country, blues, folk and rock, Cathy’s greatest strength is her lyric writing. Her songs are rich in character, observation and story.

Her work has been covered by artists including Khristian Mizzi, Andrew Swift and Clint Wilson, and has also featured in film and stage productions.

Cathy’s music has received airplay in Australia and overseas. For this special storytellers performance, she’ll share a selection of songs, along with the stories, inspirations and writing process behind them.

Tim Ireland and Ian Green:
Tim Ireland is a Yarra Valley singer-songwriter and storyteller whose songs draw on family history, Australian characters, lived experience and the stories that linger in the places around us. His work blends folk, blues and acoustic songwriting with a strong sense of history, humour and humanity.
For this performance, Tim will share the stories behind a selection of his songs, joined by longtime musical collaborator Ian “The Captain” Green on harmonica and ukulele.
