1-day Journal Cover $150

Create and customise your own Journal Cover at Leffler Leather! On this workshop you'll learn the basics of leathercraft, including hand-stitching, setting hardware and selecting leather.

The journal features an elastic closure and is suitable for an A5-sized journal. You can also make an A6 Field Journal cover.

You'll be selecting your leather from our incrediable range - you can choose from veg-tanned leather or something more exciting like patent, reptile-print or metaliic!

Beginners are very welcome. No experience is necessary!

You'll leave with not only a unique Journal Cover, but also the confidence and skills to continue in your own time … you can take home patterns and instructions, and all supplies are available from Leffler Leather.

Your tutor will be Lou Clifton of 'Shoe School'. She has run shoemaking workshops in NZ and Australia for over a decade, and has trained in Japan and the US.

Classes are held 9-5pm. Doors at 8:45am.
Free onsite parking.
Classes are limited to x6 students. Ages 14+

Tea, coffee and light refreshments are provided. We have a fridge and a kettle. Bring your own luch or you can purchase a delicious banh mi or rice paper rolls (GF) on the day for $10.
