AAIC Walk Against Ice are individual walks organised across Australia, This walk is an awareness and education event for the whole family.
AAIC is not a Governemt funded organisation. This Event helps raise awareness and brings much needed funds to the organisation to keep up its great work:
- Educating youth in schools and detention centers about thelong term effects of Ice(meth) & Other Drugs
- Help support those who want to create a pathway into long term recovery
- providing education workshops & training programs for schools, communities, workplaces and prisons
- Raising up and training teams of buddies across australia to help fight this war on ICE - for details click here
To be part of this event simply:
- Register online, (or register in person on the day)
- Purchase a tshirt or cap (there is no obligation to to purchase merch )
- Turn up on the day or organise your own walk
What if you cannot get the event on the day?
- If you cannot get to the event, you can walk where you are
- Organise your own walk by yourself or with some friends in your local area
- While on your walk, you can join up Andrea and the Gold Coast team on a virtual walk on Facebook
