End of Parliament celebration

After four years of working tirelessly as your MP, David Ettershank will be leaving Parliament at the end of the term. Join us for a special evening to celebrate his achievements, his advocacy, and the people who have been part of the journey.

Throughout his time in Parliament, David has been a tireless champion for cannabis law reform. He has led the fight for sensible regulations, advocating for patients' rights, fairer driving laws, support for the hemp industry, and reducing the harms of cannabis criminalisation.

Alongside cannabis law reform, David has also worked closely with communities across Melbourne's west on local issues affecting them, from protecting green wedge areas, to stopping waste incinerators, to getting basic infrastructure for our suburbs.

This event is our opportunity to say thank you, not only to David, but to the constituents, supporters and community members who have worked with him over the years.

There will be some short speeches before the celebrations begin proper. These include:

- Live DJ and dancefloor
- Indoor and outdoor chill-out spaces, including fire pits
- Immersive styling and magical atmosphere
- Some canned drinks and mulled wine will be available - BYO welcome
- Light nibbles will be available. If you'd like to bring a plate to share, it will be warmly welcomed.
