About

Dredging is essential for creating and maintaining our ports, harbours and waterways. As industries increasingly focus on sustainability, there is growing recognition that dredged sediment should be viewed as a valuable resource rather than a waste product. Yet despite increasing demand for scarce resources a significant proportion of dredged material continues to be disposed of rather than beneficially reused.

Join us as we explore the opportunities, challenges and emerging case studies demonstrating how beneficial use of sediments can deliver environmental, social and economic benefits while supporting a more circular approach to dredging.
