Mayor Ry Collins – Whitsunday Regional Council
Elected Mayor in 2024, Ry brings more than two decades of management and governance experience across business and industry. Before taking office he was CEO of the Bowen Gumlu Growers Association (now the North Queensland Farmers Association), and he has served on a number of regional boards. Ry's vision for the region centres on sustainable growth, prosperity and resilience, with a strong focus on economic development and infrastructure.
It's a great opportunity to hear the Mayor's priorities for Bowen and the wider region, ask questions, and connect with fellow business owners.
