Rogerson College International Spring Workshop

Leading the classical program is Lynne Charles, Artistic Director of English National Ballet School and creator of 4Pointe. A former international ballerina, Lynne’s career has seen her work with some of the most influential names in dance, including John Neumeier, Maurice Béjart and Roland Petit, as well as appearing as a guest artist with companies including the Mariinsky Ballet, English National Ballet and National Ballet of Canada. Dancers will have the rare opportunity to experience Lynne’s approach to classical technique, pointe, repertoire and artistry throughout the week.

Joining Lynne is Liam Blair, an international dancer, teacher and choreographer who brings a dynamic approach to contemporary training, movement and creative development. Liam’s classes encourage dancers to explore musicality, individuality and freedom of movement while continuing to develop strong technical foundations.

The faculty is completed by Juliet Doherty, internationally recognised dancer, actress, teacher and coach. Juliet brings her extensive professional experience and holistic understanding of a dancer’s body to the program, working with students through Pilates and stretch to support strength, alignment, mobility and the physical demands of intensive training.

With separate Junior and Senior programs, dancers will experience classical ballet, pointe and pre-pointe, classical repertoire, contemporary, Pilates and stretch across the five days.

More than simply a holiday workshop, the International Spring Workshop is an opportunity for young dancers to learn from internationally experienced artists, experience different approaches to training and be challenged and inspired in an environment focused on both technique and artistry.
