The Sound Inside is an engrossing psychological drama that blurs the boundaries between truth and fiction, drawing audiences into a story filled with suspense, literary intrigue and unexpected twists.
Set against the backdrop of academia and literature, the play follows the unlikely connection between a reclusive university professor and a gifted but enigmatic student. As their relationship deepens, an unpublished manuscript, a mystery in the snow and the discovery of a body in a park intertwine to create a gripping narrative that keeps audiences guessing until the very end.
This is a play for lovers of books and exceptional storytelling, and it will be at the Playhouse Theatre this October, starring Marta Dusseldorp and Griffin McGlaughlin, and directed by Lee Lewis. In anticipation, we’ll be hosting an evening with Marta, Griffin and Lee to discuss the play and the books that are woven into it.
