TASA Deepavali (Festival of Lights) Celebration
Saturday, 1st Nov 6pm to 10pm
Deepavali's significance is its symbolism of the spiritual victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance. Specific meanings vary by religion, but the festival is broadly tied to themes of justice, liberation, and new beginnings, marked by lighting lamps (diyas), fireworks, and celebrating with food and gifts.
