About
This special evening will celebrate the rich cultures of the Pacific through food, music and cultural performances, while raising funds for Rotary projects that support communities in Canberra and across the Pacific region.
Amazing prizes donated by generous sponsors will be on offer to be won via a silent auction, and raffle at the event - scroll down for detail of the prizes.
Guests will enjoy a three-course dinner, and be treated to entertainment from the following:
🌟 Feauini Kenipeli Tongan Cultural & Language School of ACT: Experience a beautiful, vibrant cultural performance by the students.

🌟 Tumanako Māori Cultural Group: Be immersed in rich Kapa Haka (traditional Māori performance arts). Tumanako Māori Cultural Group is a non-profit organisation that promotes Kapa Haka (traditional Māori performance arts). This community serving group was established in 2004, and is under the tutorship of Isaac Cotter, and Patricia Cotter. The group recently returned from a wonderful cultural exchange journey in China where they created great connections and friendships with Chinese dance performance groups, as well as groups from Belgium, Bulgaria, Russia, Latvia, and Ireland. You can find more information on the Tumanako Māori Cultural Group Facebook page (Tumanako Māori Cultural Group), and on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/direct/t/17842078266150730/).

🌟Jellybean Comedy - Jelin & Nick Palm. Two cultures, one marriage and endless misunderstandings! This Chinese–Papua New Guinean husband and wife comedy duo bring hilarious observations about marriage, parenting and cultural clashes to the stage. Canberra RAW Comedy finalists with sold-out festival shows, Jelin and Nick have performed across Australia, proving that love is universal, but marriage definitely needs subtitles!

🌟🎷Alopi Latukefu Jazz Quartet: Enjoy smooth, soulful jazz sounds throughout the night.

🌟🎺🎻 Canberra City Big Band: Get ready for an energetic, and show-stopping musical experience. Canberra City Big Band (formerly Spectrum Big Band) has been at the forefront of the jazz scene in Canberra since 1998, where it began as the Canberra City Show Band, part of the not-for-profit Canberra City Band inc.
