SACRED BELONGING

10 circles. 8 weeks. A space to remember what it feels like to belong.

Maybe you’ve been longing for something you can’t quite name.

A place where you don’t have to have the answers, hold it all together, explain yourself, make yourself smaller, or become a better version of you.

A place where you can simply arrive as you are — and be met there.

Sacred Belonging is an invitation into that space.

At the heart of this journey is matrescence — the profound physical, emotional, psychological, relational and spiritual transformation that happens as you become a mother.

Because motherhood doesn’t simply give you a child.

It changes you.

THE INVITATION

You became a mother, and everything shifted.

Not just your schedule, your body or your sleep — but the very ground of who you are.

Matrescence is the profound identity transition into motherhood: a becoming as significant and disorienting as adolescence, and one our culture rarely names, let alone honours.

Somewhere in that becoming, many of us lost track of the village. The people who would witness us. The hands that would hold what we carry.

The spaces where we could be met — not as mum, not as the one who holds it all together, but as a woman in the middle of profound transformation.

Maybe you don’t quite belong in the life you had before motherhood. Maybe friendships or relationships that once felt easy don’t fit in quite the same way. Maybe you’ve spent so much time responding to everyone else’s needs that you’ve lost touch with where you are amongst it all.

Matrescence asks us to become acquainted with ourselves again.

And too often, we’re expected to navigate that enormous rite of passage privately.

Sacred Belonging is a space to do it together.

Over eight weeks, ten women will gather in an intimate series of circles held by two guides, to witness, unravel, rest, grieve, laugh, question, remember and reconnect.

A space for the parts of motherhood we don’t always get to speak out loud. A space to belong to yourself, to one another, and to something larger than yourself.

Because we were never meant to mother alone.

WHY WE CREATED THIS
We have been yearning as mothers, and as women who hold other mothers for a space where mothers can gather together.

Not another place to learn how to be a better mother. Not another space where we arrive with something to fix. But a place to dive deeper into the awakening that motherhood asks of us.

We believe the work of Mother is sacred work. And we believe belonging isn’t something we need to earn.

It is something we remember.

Together, we bring two different ways of holding relational mentorship, ceremony, ritual and nourishment woven together to create one deeply held circle.

A space where you don’t have to perform, prove, explain or become someone else to belong.

Motherhood keeps transforming us long after the newborn days. We welcome mothers at every stage, knowing the richness of the circle comes from gathering across different seasons of motherhood.

THIS CIRCLE IS FOR YOU IF…
You are a mother who:

  • Has found yourself wondering “Who am I now?” or “Where do I belong now?”
  • Loves motherhood, hates parts of it, misses who you were before — or holds all of this at once.
  • Longs for deeper, more honest connection without judgement, comparison, advice or fixing.
  • Is tired of being the one who holds everything together and wants to experience what it feels like to receive, too.
  • Senses there is something sacred in this season of becoming and wants space to meet yourself within it.

You don’t need to know exactly who you’re becoming.
Maybe you just need somewhere safe enough to meet her.

WHAT HAPPENS IN CIRCLE?
Each gathering will be a little different.

There will be conversation, reflection, ritual, shared experiences and opportunities to explore what belonging means in your own life. Together, we’ll gently explore the deeper layers of matrescence, not as something to solve or rush through, but as a rite of passage worthy of being witnessed.

You may find yourself laughing. You may find yourself deeply moved. You might have something you can’t wait to share, or you might simply want to sit and listen. There is no right way to be here.

You won’t be asked to share anything you don’t want to share. You don’t need to arrive confident, spiritual, healed or certain.

And we’re not gathering because we think there’s something about you that needs fixing.

Quite the opposite.

There is something powerful about being seen, heard and valued exactly where you are, and being given enough room to hear yourself again.

THE JOURNEY
Across our ten circles, we move through a gentle arc — from witnessing the woman who became a mother, through identity, invisible load, self-trust and belonging, towards reciprocity, collective care and integration.

01 — The Woman Who Became a Mother

Witnessing Her

Acknowledging what becoming a mother actually changed, challenged, revealed and awakened in us.

     02 — The Mother I Thought I Would Be

Releasing the Fairytale

Meeting the space between expectation and reality, and gently releasing the mother we thought we were supposed to become.

     03 — Who Am I Now?

Meeting the Woman Beneath the Roles

Exploring identity, selfhood and the woman who exists beyond mum, partner, worker and caregiver.

     04 — The Invisible Load

Naming What We Were Never Meant to Carry Alone

Bringing the unseen mental, emotional and practical load into the light and beginning to question why we’ve been carrying so much by ourselves.

     05 — The Good Mother

Shame, Enoughness & Self-Compassion

Untangling perfectionism, comparison and the endless question of whether we’re doing enough.

06 — Coming Home to Myself

Safety, Needs & Self-Trust

Reconnecting with the body, our needs, boundaries and intuition and listening for the parts of ourselves that may have become quiet.

07 — The Ache for Village

Belonging, Loneliness & Being Held

Naming the longing for community and exploring what it means to truly be witnessed, supported and held.

     08 — Learning to Receive

From Hyper-Independence to Interdependence

Exploring receiving as a practice and allowing support, care and nourishment to move towards us.

     09 — Becoming the Village

Reciprocity, Contribution & Collective Care

Moving from I need to find my village towards we are the village. Exploring how we can create cultures of mutual care where support flows in many directions.

     10 — The Woman I Am Becoming

Integration, Sovereignty & Belonging

Gathering the threads of the journey, honouring who we’ve become and stepping forward with deeper self-trust, connection and belonging.

WHY 10 CIRCLES?
Because belonging isn’t something we think can be manufactured in a single afternoon.

It grows.

You see the same faces again. You remember someone’s story. Someone remembers yours. You arrive one week feeling open and another feeling tender.

Trust has time to develop. Relationships have time to form. The room begins to feel familiar. And perhaps there is something particularly powerful about being witnessed through matrescence by other women who are becoming, questioning and remembering alongside you.

Somewhere along the way, a collection of women sitting in a circle can begin to feel a little more like a village.

That’s what we’re interested in creating with you.

MEET YOUR GUIDES:

Jenna Cute

Jenna is a single mother, community-builder and relational guide whose work centres around one simple but powerful belief:

We were never meant to do this alone.

As the founder of Secret Mums Business, Jenna has spent years working intimately alongside mothers in their homes and lives — in the real, messy and tender reality of motherhood.

Her work has given her a deep understanding of the invisible load women carry, the loneliness that can exist beneath competence, and what becomes possible when a mother feels genuinely seen, supported and free from judgement.

Jenna is deeply interested in matriarchal systems, the embodiment of the true Mother archetype, and what it might look like to revive the village for the world we live in now.

Her gift is in listening beneath the words — noticing patterns, asking the questions that invite deeper reflection, and gently helping women hear what they may already know within themselves.

She won’t tell you who you should become. She’ll sit beside you while you meet the woman who is already emerging.

Tanya Heinrich

Tanya is a mother of three boys, Registered Nurse, postpartum care provider, circle facilitator and sacred space holder. She has been gathering women in circle since 2020, with her work shaped by her own lived experience of motherhood and a deep knowing that we were never meant to do this alone.

Through Nourish with Tanya, her work is grounded in a simple truth: mothers need mothers. Through circle, ritual, ceremony and practical care, Tanya creates spaces where mothers can come as they are — to soften, be witnessed, nourished, receive, and remember they don’t have to carry it all alone.

A natural nurturer, Tanya has a gift for creating spaces where women can exhale — bringing warmth, tenderness and a deeply caring presence that allows mothers to soften, receive and feel held.

Tanya believes that when mothers are held and nourished, families are strengthened and communities thrive.

Private Containers:

Sometimes the deepest part of circle happens after you leave the room.

Something lands differently. A relationship brings an old pattern to the surface. You notice yourself responding in a new way. A question follows you home.

Or you simply realise there was something you weren’t quite ready to say in the group.

The Private Container gives you two weeks of direct access to both Jenna and Tanya — a private extension of the circle where you can bring what is unfolding in real time.

The voice note you need to get out of your head. The relationship you’re trying to understand. The boundary you’re sitting with. The motherhood moment that brought something up. The realisation you don’t quite have words for yet. You don’t need to wait until the next circle or arrive with a perfectly formed question.

You get to bring us what’s happening while it’s happening.

With two women alongside you, you’ll receive our different perspectives, reflections and gentle questions not to tell you what to do or fix what you’re experiencing, but to help you hear yourself more clearly and stay connected to yourself as you move through it.

CIRCLE OF CARE
Sacred Belonging is also part of something bigger we’re exploring — a different way of caring for one another.

5% of every Sacred Belonging enrolment goes into our Circle of Care — a living pool of reciprocal support that helps make care, connection and nourishment more accessible to mothers experiencing a season where additional support could make a meaningful difference.
