2026 THHS Research Excellence Awards Gala dinner

The Townsville HHS Research Symposium will be held on Tuesday 3 November 2026.

Hosted by Townsville Hospital and Health Service, the symposium will be held in the Robert Douglas Auditorium located on the ground floor of Townsville University Hospital. 

The symposium celebrates the research, innovation, and collaboration of health research being conducted across the Townsville region.

The annual TIHRI Research Excellence Awards recognises the outstanding achievements in research across the staff at THHS.

The awards acknowledge the depth and breadth of research in our organisation and provide a showcase for our best and brightest, as well as recognising young and emerging researchers.
