Author Talk with Susea Spray @ Mittagong Library

Ahoy, little captains! Join author Susea Spray for a fun and interactive journey out on the brine, inspired by her award-winning picture book A Day on the Brine, beautifully illustrated by Emma Stuart.

With wind in her hair and salt on her nose, a young Captain heads out in her big blue boat. As she sails from sunrise to sunset, she discovers an amazing world beneath, above and around the ocean — from soaring albatrosses to playful whales and the many creatures that call the sea home.

Through storytelling, rhythm, rhyme and plenty of opportunities to join in, children will explore the magic of the ocean while discovering more about boats, marine life and the interconnected world beneath the waves.

Perfect for little ocean explorers aged 3–8, this engaging session brings the story to life and encourages curiosity, imagination and a love of reading.

Come aboard and discover what the Captain sees out on the brine!

Registrations is required for all participating children. 

Please note: At least one family member must be a library member to attend this event. Please provide the library membership number when registering.
