MEN’S FRIENDLY DOUBLES BADMINTON TOURNAMENT
Bringing Our Community Together Through Sport 🤝
Join us for a fun and friendly men’s doubles badminton tournament designed to bring our community together, enjoy some competitive badminton, and make sure everyone gets plenty of time on court.
👥 WHO CAN JOIN?
Adult men of all ages and skill levels are welcome! You don’t need to be a professional or highly experienced player. This is a friendly community tournament focused on having fun, getting some games in and bringing everyone together. 🏸🤝

Date: Sunday, 20 September 2026
Time: 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Venue: Perth Badminton Arena, Redcliffe
Entry Fee: $19 per person
💳 PAYMENT INFORMATION
No payment is required when registering through TryBooking.
The $19 entry fee will be collected approximately 5 days before the tournament.
Please only register if you are committed to attending. Once registered, your spot will be reserved, and cancellations may not be able to be accommodated due to limited places.
🤝 HOW THE TEAMS WILL BE FORMED
To keep the tournament fair, competitive and enjoyable for everyone, pairs will be arranged based on players’ self-rated badminton ability.
During registration, you will be asked a few questions about your badminton experience and skill level. Please answer honestly so we can shuffle players and create as many evenly matched pairs as possible.
The aim is to give everyone a fair chance to compete, regardless of their playing level.
🎯 KEEP PLAYING – PLATE CUP
Getting knocked out of the main tournament doesn't mean your night is over! 🎉
Players who are eliminated from the main competition will have the opportunity to continue playing in the Plate Cup, giving everyone more games and keeping you on court for as much of the event as possible.
This means you’ll have another chance to compete for the Plate Cup, rather than sitting out for the rest of the tournament.
Our goal is simple — more games, more fun and more time on court for everyone! 🏸

🎒 Bring your own badminton racket.
🏸 Yonex Mavis 600 Nylon (Blue Cap) Badminton Shuttlecocks will be used throughout the tournament.

💚 NON-PROFIT COMMUNITY EVENT
This is a non-profit community event. The $19 entry fee is set to cover the costs of running the tournament and providing the included facilities and refreshments.
