About
If you've been diagnosed with PCOS and you're exhausted from yo-yo diets, random supplements and advice that never quite fits your actual life, this is for you. šæ
Most standard PCOS advice has you fighting your own body.
Cutting out carbs. Eliminating gluten. Dragging yourself through exercise you hate. Taking the pill and thinking that's enough.
And when none of it sticks, you're left wondering what you're doing wrong.
You're doing nothing wrong. Diet culture handed you a list of rules, and your body responded exactly the way a stressed body does. Those 2pm crashes and 10pm sugar cravings are signals from your nervous system, and once you understand them, food gets a whole lot quieter.
The PCOS Ask Me Anything is a 90 min live, intimate Q&A with Amanda Huynh, an Accredited Practising Dietitian who has spent the last 6 years of her clinical practice working almost exclusively with PCOS. You bring your real questions and I'll give you straight, honest answers.
Bring the ones you've Googled a hundred times, and the ones you're almost embarrassed to say out loud. Those are usually the ones most worth asking. Email them to me before the session by hitting reply to your confirmation email, or ask them on the day.
ā Is white rice bad? Do I have to switch to brown rice if I don't like it?
ā Why do I crash so hard at 2pm?
ā Why am I always hungry even after eating?
ā How do I stop sugar cravings at 10pm?
(Spoiler for that first one: you don't need to whitewash your diet to be healthy.)
Every one of these is the right question, and you deserve a real answer. You'll walk out with clarity you can implement at your very next meal, and maybe, for the first time in a while, you'll feel genuinely excited to work with your body.
Two ways to join. Tickets are $33.
š In-person: Sunday 25 October, 11am at Aesara Health, Brunswick East. Tea + snacks included. Only 8 spots.
