About
“One of the most important documentaries I've seen.”

Tickets: FREE – Registration Essential
Join us for a public screening of UNBROKEN, a compelling documentary that reveals the human impact of transnational repression through the story of the world-renowned performing arts company, Shen Yun Performing Arts.
As Australia faces growing concerns about foreign interference and transnational repression, UNBROKEN offers a timely and deeply personal perspective on how these issues affect artists, families, and communities living in democratic societies.
Directed by Fiona Young, UNBROKEN is the first documentary granted long-term filming access to Shen Yun Performing Arts. Through the journey of one artist’s family, it captures the dedication, resilience, and challenges of young performers whose lives are shaped by both artistic excellence and political pressure.
Whether your interests lie in the arts, human rights, or Australia’s democratic values, UNBROKEN is a powerful and thought-provoking film that invites reflection on the importance of protecting freedom from transnational repression.
