BEAR THE MAMMOTH + SVNTAX ERROR (Sydney) + THE BIG QUIET

Melbourne/Naarm instrumental progressive post-rock band Bear The Mammoth have been creating expansive, atmospheric music since forming in 2011. Their sound combines layered guitars, bass, drums and synths, moving between quieter passages and heavier, more intense moments. We are super stoked to have them back at Trash Cult for an incredible night.

Joining them this time round will be Sydney/Gadigal outfit Svntax Error for their album lunch, Fires of Home, with theremin fuelled and guitar laden indie psychedelic post-rock for the apocalypse.

Svntax Error’s music is created through the clashing of disparate influences in improvisation, leading to either harsh combustion or new and strange musical mutations. The music blurs spontaneity with composition, melody with noise, chaos with structure, light with shade.
