A day to celebrate Sinterklaas and his Pieten. Based on the figure St Nicholas, his stories were shared and quickly inspired a holiday for the Netherlands and Belgium. It was originated from him helping the poor and putting money into peoples shoes. This is now tradition for Sinterklaas to go to childrens houses with his pieten and deliver candy into childrens shoes. Here at The Dutch Pantry we celebrate the day by being together, eating Dutch food, Live Music and of course the man himself, Sinterklaas, accompanied by his Pieten. It is a great day you cant miss out on! Please contact us if you have any other questions.
