About
This mandatory face-to-face Assessor Training Workshop will focus on practical areas that support consistent assessment across Commission programs, including:
- Consistent application of ratings and strengthened inter-rater reliability
- Assessing whether governance, safety and quality systems are implemented, monitored and effective
- Using triangulated evidence to evaluate governance oversight, workforce practices, frontline care and consumer experience
- Writing clear, evidence-based findings, that identify gaps and required remedial action
- Calibration activities, practical scenarios and standards-specific discussions.
This face-to-face workshop will also provide a valuable opportunity to connect with QIP staff and fellow assessors, share experiences and learnings, and strengthen relationships across our assessor network.
