An Evening of Australian Bush Foods

About
Step away from the every-day and enjoy an evening with Australian bush food experts, Mike and Gayle Quarmby. Mike and Gayle, one of our favourite suppliers, have been growing native bush foods for decades, all the while working to bring back plants from the edge of extinction and educate gardeners about their benefits. Mike and Gayle will talk about plant selection, and plant care, followed by a demonstration on how to prepare a stirfry of saltbush, warrigal greens and quandongs.
At the conclusion of Mike's presentation there will be time for a Q&A session (this is the chance to bring your curly bush food plant questions), as well as the opportunity to purchase plants at a saving of 20% off the usual RRP.
Maybe your garden could become a personal push back to hold tight to a part of this ancient food culture.
6.45pm for a 7pm sharp start. We would love for you to join us for this very special evening of learning. Light refreshments will be served - please let us know if you have any dietary requirements.
