About

Paper Jane & Alison Ferrier play Martians Saloon Deans Marsh Grand Final Night Saturday Sept 26. Two exceptional Melbourne Roots Acts to pep up your post game celebrations at the Surf Coasts' hottes music venue.

Paper Jane are the "Succulent Chinese Meal" of Melbourne Americana. Songs of Australian stories, life beyond happy endings. Big harmony, Gypsy fiddle and shuffle swagger. Unearthed after their debut. Shortlisted for best regional act - music vic awards. Paper Jane isn't rolled in tinsel, it's exposed yet it still jumps.

Alison Ferrier has been singing and songwriting for over 20 years. She is one-third of swamp-blues powerhouse Opelousas, and also fronts her four-piece band the Upshots. Her music has been described as "Alt-countrified gorgeousness" which "affects the listener deeply and with a quiet, constant energy."
