The Power of Exercise & Sport in Type 1 Diabetes
Join us on 2 October 2026 for an engaging and practical 1 hour seminar designed for children and families living with type 1 diabetes.
Discover how exercise, sport and movement can help children feel stronger, more confident and empowered in managing their diabetes — from the playground to the sporting field and everything in between!
Led by a Diabetes Educator and Dietitian, we’ll explore practical tips around glucose management, food and fuel, exercise, sport and staying safe while having fun.
Whether your child is a budding athlete or simply loves to move, come along to learn, ask questions and discover how type 1 diabetes doesn’t have to sit on the sidelines!
Please note this session is only open to patients of the RCH Diabetes Clinic
