Berninneit is proud to host weekly Live on the Lawn sessions.
These are FREE live music events in the heart of Phillip Island in Janurary 2027.
Grab your picnic rugs, chairs and your friends and family and join us on the grass out the front of Berninneit for some groovy local tunes to keep you in the Summer vibe!
No Promises
A chance meeting in South Gippsland, Victoria, brought about by a drought of live performances during the COVID-19 period of 2020, saw the birth of No Promises.
Janine Garvey and Eric Collier – both established musicians in their local area – discovered a strong artistic connection during a number of writing and rehearsal sessions in the middle of the year. The result was the decision to create their own collaborative project, culminating in the formation of No Promises.
Are they country? Are they pop? Are they rock? Are they blues?
The answer is clearly option E – all of the above. Most artists and groups relish the opportunity to be defined by a genre in which they feel comfortable. Eric and Janine refuse to do that – they write, create and record music that transcends a single, easy-to-label and definable genre box.

Berninneit cultural centre is located at 91-97 Thompson Ave, Cowes.
Please arrive early to ensure you have time to find parking, scan your tickets, and purchase snacks and beverages.
Accessible and wheelchair seating available.
Companion tickets available via box-office with valid companion card.
All tickets are non-refundable.
Children aged 12 and over can attend Bass Coast Cultural Venues unaccompanied.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult or guardian (18+) while on the premises.
