Second Bloom is organised by a student team as part of the Arts Management Project at the University of Melbourne. It is a free, non-commercial, community-facing event built around three values: sustainability, connection, and inclusion. We invites visitors to craft flowers from recycled and second-hand materials, attach a personal story to each one on a Story Card, and exchange the finished flower with another visitor. Over the course of the afternoon, exchanged flowers accumulate into a growing collective installation.
