About
🎥🎞️
Join Red Ant & Karu for the second installment of our "Revolutionary South Asia on Film" series! On Saturday 26th September we're screening "Red Ant Dream" (dir. Sanjay Kak, 2013).
"Red Ant Dream" is a documentary that follows the organised resistance of Maoists in Chhattisgarh, Adivasis in Odisha and protestors in Punjab. Deep in the forests and even out on the city streets the documentary captures the dream of revolution and the valiant (and often armed) opposition against encroaching mining companies, land seizures, and the brutal counter-insurgency from the Indian State. Join us as we learn about the people putting their lives on the line to defend their land, communities and comrades.
