About
This workshop is designed for both parent and child to come along an learn the art of basket weaving together. Weaving creates an environment for connection and community togetherness, and sharing this across generations is so special.
The class is perfect for beginners, as well as those with some weaving experience. We will start by crafting a small trinket basket or coaster using raffia and a blanket stitch technique. Once you've mastered the basics, you'll be guided on how to create your very own basket from the beginning so your basket weaving possibilities are endless!
Price is $110 for the adult and child and includes:
- your own needle for weaving
- starter coil
- plain and coloured raffia to fuel your creative flair
- two hours of expert tuition
- light refreshments
Please note: This class requires minimum six people to run. In the unlikely event that we don't get this number of students, we'll cancel the class and fully refund you and inform you via email
