Rock Academy 45 Live - The Next Generation of Rock Come and join the Tribe at a new venue for Rock Academy - MEMO Music Hall in St.Kilda..

Rock Academy, featuring over 70 young musicians from all over Victoria (as well as some guests from NSW and WA), is a celebration of Rock, of Melbourne and of the infectious energy of youth.

We’re excited to be in the incredible MEMO Music Hall for the first time, and after a week of preparing Melbourne’s brightest young musicians, they will blow you away.

Rock Academy is a phenomenal school holiday program for teenage musicians. Mentored by professional touring musicians, the teenagers form bands, write songs and put on a show that needs to be seen to be believed.

After a week of songwriting and rehearsal at Rock Academy’s famous holiday workshops, some of Melbourne’s finest teenage musicians will hit the stage to present a range of original and cover songs.

Having been mentored by one of the country’s finest bands - The Teenage Dads, with guidance from the legend himself our very own Phil Ceberano, these young talents are here to show you what they can do!

Head in to Acland Street for lunch and have a drink or two at MEMO to show our support for them - they are great supports of us and of live music in Melbourne.
