Parent Education Seminar - Building Childhood Resilience

Location
Padbury Catholic Primary School - School Hall O'Leary Road, Padbury, WA, 6025
About
EVERY parent wants their child to learn how to deal with life’s ‘bumps’: losing a game, missing out on an invitation, feeling nervous about doing the presentation…There’s a long list - because they’re part of ‘Life’ – and the key to building resilience is developing healthy ways of dealing with them.
Growing resilience year by year and laying down the foundations of how to achieve a positive mindset and emotional self-management when the going gets tough.
Padbury Catholic School has therefore invited Helen Davidson, a child, adolescent and family mental health clinician with 3 decades’ experience to give us the latest evidence-based perspective on how to do this. Helen is also the co-author together with Claire Orange of both the early and primary school years’ social and emotional learning programs, Little Highway Heroes and Highway Heroes.
Attending also means you can take advantage of a 50% discount ($60) on Helen & Claire’s award winning What to do About series of 6 books: 3 for the kids, 3 for mum and dad.
