About
A SOUTH AUSTRALIAN PREMIERE / a double-bill / CRAM presents kerosene/SIRENS by Benjamin Nichol
Starring Franca Lafosse & Connor Pullinger
kerosene
Millie has spent her life on the outside, finding solace in her best friend, Annie. But when Annie arrives at her door bruised, broken and desperate, Millie's devotion takes a darker turn. As love becomes obsession and loyalty becomes revenge, we're plunged into a world where protecting the person you love means crossing a dangerous line. Raw, visceral and unsettling, kerosene asks just how far we would go for the people we love.
SIRENS
In rural Australia, 22-year old Eden is searching for something he can't quite name. A chance encounter with a mysterious drag queen draws him into a strange and intoxicating new world, where fantasy and reality begin to blur. As Eden becomes increasingly consumed by what / or who he thinks he has found / SIRENS unfolds as a dark, atmospheric coming of age story about desire, loneliness and the dangerous pull of longing.
Please note there will be a short interval between each show.
