About
Come and Taste & See what Community Learning with Stable One is all about.
As part of Stable One Education, our Community Learning modules are being developed to equip everyday people with greater understanding, confidence and practical skills as they walk alongside people experiencing vulnerability and challenging circumstances.
Whether you volunteer in emergency relief, a food program, an op shop, a church or another community setting, these workshops are designed to be practical, accessible and relevant to the situations you encounter.
Rather than simply telling you about Community Learning, we want to give you a chance to experience it.
During this free taster event, you'll take part in interactive learning drawn from our developing suite of Community Learning workshops and get a feel for both the topics we explore and the way we learn together.
You'll also hear more about the Community Learning modules available through Stable One and how they could support the volunteers, staff or people within your organisation or community.
Taste & See is being held immediately prior to the Victorian Winter Shelter Network Conference. You don't need to be attending the conference to come along – everyone is welcome. You are also more than welcome to stay on and join us for a meal and guest speaker as part of the Conference - you'll need to book for dinner via this alternate link: https://www.trybooking.com/DPUKF
