Key holder induction sessions
To become a member, you are required to attend a keyholder induction session at the pool. Bookings are essential. The 2026 induction dates are:
- Sunday 8 November 9am - 1pm
- Sunday 15 November 9am - 1pm
Each session takes 1 hour, and covers swimming and CPR. Be prepared to get wet, as you must complete a swimming competency. Each session is limited to 20 participants.
Complete these tasks ahead of time to keep induction day on-schedule:
- Read and sign the User Agreement. Email to pool@hollywoodpandc.org.
- Read General Pool Information, and keep a copy somewhere handy.
- Read the Pool Operation Manual, particularly sections 1 - 10, which outline what people aren't allowed to do at the pool.
- Watch the 14 minute Pool Induction Video.
- Pay the fee into the pool account (details below).

Please arrive 15 minutes early for your induction so that the registrations don't slow down the day. Royal Lifesaving Western Australia request that you bring photo ID, bathers and towel to your induction.
Note: All keyholders will be required to take the swimming induction unless they have appropriate swimming rescue and CPR certifications. Medical professionals are required to take the swimming rescue section of the induction. Certificates must be provided if you want an exemption.

Closed during school
The pool is closed on school days from 8:00am until 3:05pm. STRICTLY NO SWIMMING DURING SCHOOL TIME!
Payment
The fee for the 2026 - 2027 season is $140 for school families and $170 for non-school families. The money is used to help cover the strict water quality testing requirements, general maintenance and compliance costs. Families with more than one adult member intending to use the pool can register for additional inductions at no extra cost. Every adult must complete the induciton.
While EFTPOS facilities will be available on the induction day, please try to pay in advance into the pool account, and forward proof of remittance to pool@hollywoodpandc.org.
