About
Dreams or mere delusions
A carnival of lights
Glittering illusions
To fill your weary nights
Dreams or Mere Delusions is the debut album from Zyl, produced by Josh Richens and seven years in the making.
The album began in Canberra in 2019. Since then, it's made its way through a pandemic and two kids in Canberra, a move to Melbourne, two more kids, buying and renovating a dumpster house, and all the life that's happened in between. This launch is the culmination of years of writing, recording and effort, and I'm delighted to finally be able to share it with my friends and family.
Join us for a private album launch at The Leadbeater Hotel in Richmond, where I'll be performing the album live with a full band made up of friends and family, followed by The Seben Brothers.
We'll be teasing some of the album in the weeks leading up to the launch, but this will be the first chance to hear it performed live in full.
Sunday 6 December 2026
Doors: 4:00 pm
Zyl: 4:30–5:30 pm
The Seben Brothers: 6:00–7:00 pm
Doors close: 8:00pm
Tickets are $10, which is just to help cover the costs of putting on the event. Kids are very welcome and free, but please register them when booking so we have accurate numbers.
The bar will be open throughout the event, with drinks available to purchase.
This is a private, invitation-only event for our friends and family, so please don't share the booking link publicly. You are welcome to talk about it with friends and share it directly if you think they'll enjoy the show, though!
