About
Caryl Churchill’s postmodern play is constructed through a series of fragmented vignettes, loosely exploring love, knowledge and human connection in an increasingly fractured digital world. Somehow deeply intimate while remaining anonymous and global, 'Love and Information' draws us into a world reminiscent of the way we communicate online - fleeting encounters, fragments of information, moments of connection and everything left unsaid.
Presented by Castlemaine Theatre Company and Montello Productions, this production embraces the scale and community at the heart of the work, bringing together generations of first-time performers and experienced actors in an ensemble cast of 45.
Co-directed by Brendan McDougall, Iz Little and Caitlin Soennichsen, with musical direction by Dave Barclay, 'Love and Information' offers a theatrical experience unlike anything you’ve seen before.
