Lessen with Peg - A Waste-Wise Workshop

Get waste-wise with Peg in this fun, interactive and hands-on workshop supporting National Recycling Week.

Discover where our waste goes, how recycling works, and practical ways to reduce the amount of waste we create. We’ll explore simple changes you can make at home and why reducing waste matters.

Then put your learning into practice by creating simple, useful products from everyday materials you may already have in your kitchen cupboards.

This 2-hour workshop includes:

• Part 1: Learn about waste, recycling and practical ways to reduce waste.

• Part 2: Get hands-on and make two take-home products using simple household materials - create a toothpaste and/or deodrant to take home.

All workshop materials.

Please bring along a small jar to take home your DIY products.

This workshop is presented in support of National Recycling Week (9–15 November) in partnership with the City of Perth Waste Education Team.
