For children aged 6 -12 years
A fun, hands-on school holiday experience for kids who love being around horses and ponies!
Children will spend 90 minutes getting to know some of our beautiful horses and ponies while enjoying a variety of relaxed, hands-on activities. It’s all about giving kids the opportunity to interact with horses, learn some basic skills and simply enjoy plenty of horse and pony time.
Activities may include:
- Meeting & patting our horses and ponies
- Grooming & brushing
- Learning to safely lead a pony
- Simple horse and pony care
- Fun obstacle challenges
- Learning about horse behaviour and communication
- Plenty of relaxed horse and pony time
No previous horse experience is needed — just a love of horses!
Ages: 6 - 12 years
Duration: 90 minutes
Price: $88 per child
Ground-based, no riding
Parents/guardians are welcome to remain on the property during the session and enjoy the stunning views and expansive grounds.
We’re based in beautiful Lancefield, an easy drive from Melbourne, and would love to welcome you for a relaxed afternoon of genuine horse time at Saddle & Soul.
