About
Love Songs & Not-Love Songs
ML Ruubz and the Muses invite you to an evening of romantic piano and lush harmonies, whimsical musing and poignant songwriting. In this premiere show, ML Ruubz reimagines a handpicked selection of songs from her original pop-fusion albums, ‘Segue on the Beach’ and ‘Chasing Summer’, as more intimate and stripped back arrangements. Supported by her lovely muses, Mary Emme, Rubi Franc, and Randa Khamis, on sweet harmonies and light percussion, ML Ruubz whisks you away on a musical journey through songs of love, heartbreak, and hope.
‘Love Songs and Not-Love Songs’ encapsulates the core of ML Ruubz’s songwriting: love and passion in all of its beautiful forms; and the cold and lonely journey of living with a chronic illness. Though touching on some poignant themes, it is mostly a light and lovely evening of romance and whimsy. So sit back, relax, and soak in the beautiful music.
