About

The City of Joondalup's Young Musician of the Year Award is an exciting and dynamic contest for musicians across Western Australia, with a minimum of Grade 6 AMEB or Year 12 ATAR, to compete across five distinct categories: Brass, Percussion, Strings, Woodwind, and Piano. With the winner taking home the title 'Young Musician of the Year', an exciting opportunity to perform with Perth Symphony Orchestra, and a share of a $5000 prize pool.

This will include a musical showcase filled with surprises along the way, at the stunning Redmond Theatre, Sunday 25 October, where selected musicians will compete for the prestigious ‘City of Joondalup Young Musician of the Year Award.'
