With AGM season approaching, this practical online workshop will help club and association committee members understand some of the fundamentals of good governance and prepare for a well-run AGM.

Topics will include:

- Understanding your organisation’s legal structure
- The obligations and responsibilities of your committee
- The real definition of ‘not-for-profit’
- Making sense of financial statements
- Your constitution and why it should be the starting point for AGM planning
- Key steps and timelines leading into an AGM
- Practical tips for running an efficient, transparent and well-managed AGM

This session is presented by Valley Sport and CPRG, combining local knowledge with specialist expertise in community sport and not-for-profit governance.

This workshop is free to attend and will be delivered online, making it easy for clubs from across the region to participate.
