Protective Behaviours Advanced Practitioner Training
- The Advanced Practitioner course will help you develop a deeper understanding of the Protective Behaviours process and enhance your skills and confidence in putting ideas into practice. Advanced Specialist Practitioners will
- Gain an Intrinsic knowledge of Protective Behaviours – bringing it to the next level,
- • Develop the ability to utilise Protective Behaviours beyond a program delivery context
- • Develop their knowledge of Protective Behaviours process and development
- • Increase their knowledge and understanding of Protective Behaviours to develop and implement programs and specialist delivery.
- • The ability to deconstruct and understand the relevance of each element in a specific context.
- • Increased ability to recognise and develop resources consistent with Protective Behaviours.
- • Be able to identify barriers and levels of resistance to Protective Behaviours and identify and utilise strategies to overcome those barriers.
- • Develop an enhanced understanding of Protective behaviours and increase confidence in using protective behaviours in all settings
- To be eligible to enrol in this course, you must have completed Protective Behaviours Universal Plus Training and be a Protective Behaviours Practioner. This course is also a prerequisite for the Protective Behaviours International Train the Trainer course.
Dates:
Days 1 & 2 - Wednesday November 11th & Thursday November 12th 2026
Days 3 & 4 - Monday November 30th & Tuesday December 1st 2026
The course will run each of the days above from 9am - 4:30pm.
Participants must attend all four days to receive certification of completion. Location: Waalitj Hub - 42 Bishopsgate Street, Lathlain
Morning and Afternoon tea provided, participants to bring own lunch
