CMS concert on April 24 Flinders Quartet and Charlie Wu

One of Australia’s most distinguished string quartets makes their first appearance at CMS in a work honouring the bicentenary of Beethoven’s death. In what is sure to be a highlight of CMS’s 2027 season, the acclaimed Flinders Quartet will perform one of Beethoven’s most celebrated quartets the ‘Razoumovsky Quartet’ Opus 59 No 3. They will then be joined by pianist Charlie Wu, fresh off a performance with the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra in St Petersburg in one of the Romantic era’s unqualified masterpieces, Brahms’ mighty Piano Quintet in F minor.
