Family Fishing Day - Accessible Fishing Experience

To celebrate the International Day of People with Disability, Mosman Council is hosting a Family Fishing Day at Clifton Gardens Reserve.
This registration page is for 90-minute facilitated fishing sessions for people with an intellectual or physical disability. The broader Family Fishing Day event does not require registration.
While facilitators are trained in disability-inclusive practices, participants who require personal care or support must attend with their carer. In these cases, both the participant and carer must be registered, and two places should be booked. Each fishing rod will be shared by two participants, or by a participant and their carer where applicable.
To help ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, please provide details of any specific conditions, support needs, access requirements, or adjustments that may be required. Please note that this information will be shared with Saltwater School to support the delivery of the facilitated fishing sessions.
Clifton Gardens Reserve is a popular destination during the warmer months, and parking can be limited. A shuttle service is available by prior request between Mosman Square and Clifton Gardens Reserve. Participants may park at Vista Street Car Park and catch the shuttle service.
