About
Soundtracking Dziga Vertov’s Man with a Movie Camera, the Electronic Noise Orchestra will present a unique screening of a film renowned for redefining cinema. Presented as 6 reels of montage documentary, Man with a Movie Camera strips filmmaking down to its core, showcasing real people living ordinary lives.
Reflecting the philosophies of the Soviet Kinoks montage movement, the Electronic Noise Orchestra have created a suite of instruments, analogue electronics, and sound-making devices to deliver a non-digital live score that highlights the renewed relevance of this classic montage for 21st-century audiences.
Join the Electronic Noise Orchestra for one night only for an evening of experimental sound and music at The Piccadilly cinema in North Adelaide. It’s sure to be an evening like nothing you’ve experienced before.
The concession stand and bar will be open for the purchase of snacks and drinks!
